(Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Rendah / Standard Curriculum for Primary Schools) is Malaysia's national primary education syllabus. It focuses on holistic student development—encompassing intellectual, emotional, spiritual, and physical growth—through School-Based Assessments (PBS)

The Six Core Pillars

The KSSR framework is built on six fundamental strands that integrate critical thinking, creativity, and innovation:

Communication

Mastering language skills (Bahasa Melayu, English, and mother tongues)

Spiritual, Attitudes, and Values

Character building through Islamic Education or Moral Education

Humanities

Understanding society and the environment through subjects like History

Science & Technology

Develops scientific knowledge, mathematical skills, technological literacy, and analytical thinking

Physical & Aesthetic Development

Physical Education, Visual Arts, and Music

Personal Competence

Developing leadership, self-esteem, and practical life skills
